Awards and Recognition
Just a few weeks ago, Sylvia Cary received the Irwin Award for her book, The Therapist Writer: Helping Mental Health Professionals Get Published, from the Book Publicists of Southern California (BPSC), in the category of “Best Niche Campaign.”
The Award was named for the organization’s publicist founder, Irwin Zucker, as a way to formally and publicly recognize BPSC members who conducted the best book sales/ promotion campaigns. The honorees shared with the audience the steps they took that led to the success of their book promotion campaigns. The event took place at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City, California.
